Guiquan XuSun Yat-sen University
Guiquan Xu is Associate Professor at the School of Communication and Design of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. He obtained a joint Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels) and the Communication University of China in 2013. He was a visiting scholar at the School of Journalism at Columbia University (2019-2020). His research interests focus on the areas of discourse studies, audience research, and media politics.
