Claudia Mohor ValentinoUniversity of EssexClaudia Mohor Valentino is a PhD student at the Department of Government, and part of the Centre for Ideology and discourse analysis at the University of Essex. Her primary research interest orbits around poststructuralist discourse theory, Lacanian psychoanalysis and protests. She is currently researching how the Lacanian category of demand can be used to shed light on social and political phenomena, focusing on the cases of Occupy movement and October 2019 Chilean unrest.
