How does the far right imagine the world? Analytical perspectives on different communicative genres

DESIRE members Omran Shroufi, Archibald Gustin, and Maximilian Grönegräs have put together a panel at the 6th DiscourseNet Congress at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The overall topic of the panel was how the far right realises its various imaginaries through different communicative genres. While Omran Shroufi talked about the cultural metapolitics done by a German far-right podcast, Archibald Gustin focussed on the gender politics of the Belgian far-right party Vlaams Belang, and Maximilian Grönegräs on the political communication and mainstream media criticism by the German far-right party Alternative für Deutschland.
