bahruz SamadovCharles university in PragueBahruz Samadov is a graduate of the Central European University's International Relations program and a doctoral candidate in Political Science at Charles University, where he focuses on authoritarian stability and depoliticization in Azerbaijan. His research interests include discourse theory, populism studies, post-structuralism, Lacanian psychoanalysis, social mobilization and movements, and the post-political order in non-democratic contexts. Bahruz also has experience as a democratic activist in Azerbaijan and works as an opinion journalist. He contributes to 'OC Media' and the 'Baku Research Institute,' where he is known for his critical articles about the Azerbaijani government.
